Stav's academic work has been presented at University of Sheffield (Circus and Beyond, 2018), Cirquon Prague (Circus and Its Others, 2018), Popular Culture Association (National Conference 2019; Winner of the Michael and Madonna Marsden Grant), Limmud Festival UK (2019), Leo Baeck Institute NYC (2020), and many Jewish institutions in the UK and USA.
Stav's academic work has been published at Bandwagon - the journal of the Circus Historical Society, Bamah - the Israeli Performing Arts journal, and more.
During Stav's academic studies she was awarded the Rose Biller Scholarship, A. D. Felheim Scholarship, Bernard Osher Foundation Scholarship and Joan Howard Kersner Memorial Scholarship.
