Academic Circus History Researcher and Speaker

• Main research area: Jewish circus families and artists in Germany Under National Socialism. Secondary research area: The Barbette Project, a work blending gender, history and performance (MA thesis available here)
• Stav's academic work has been presented at University of Sheffield (Circus and Beyond, 2018), Cirquon Prague (Circus and Its Others, 2018), Popular Culture Association (National Conference 2019; Winner of the Michael and Madonna Marsden Grant), and at many public and private events in museums, synagogues, festivals and Jewish institutions worldwide. Select hosts include Manchester Jewish Museum (UK), Leo Baeck Institute New York (US), Paideia The European Institute for Jewish Studies (Sweden), The Oregon Jewish Museum (US), CANDLES Holocaust Museum (US), and many more.
• During Stav's academic studies she was awarded the Rose Biller Scholarship, the A. D. Felheim Scholarship, the Bernard Osher Foundation Scholarship and the Joan Howard Kersner Memorial Scholarship.
